Ideas are illegal
With this
video I really liked the story line and the way it was shown, even though its
not as clear to see it still has a good message to people. The whole concept of
the video is about trying to be able to fit in to the society, but you’re not
allowed to tell and express the ideas you have. Well that’s the way I see it.
You have think the same, and think of nothing less impart from the job.
At the
beginning of the film you see that the director used a long shot to let people
see what type of atmosphere it is. The long shot follows up on a medium shot of
a moving object which is a person but as a light bulb. Then it goes to a
closeup which you see more detail in the face, then it blacks out to an “idea”
scene where the person is thinking. Soon after the blob lit up which made him
have an idea. The emotion created on the face of the character showed that he
was disappointed, worried and anxious.

With this
video I liked how the movement throughout the film stayed in tack, meaning
there was good continuity. By having good continuity in the actions which the
figure made makes the film nicer to watch because the movement is flowed out.
And that’s one of the reason why I like this video. The director mainly used a long shot, medium
shot and occasionally used a close-up and by doing that I think it was done
effectively. I think the director made a good choice about using these types of
shots and it has been done very well because it shows us that the story is in a
soft, flowing movement and it helps to show the video has a clear story line
and it has kept the motion intact.
Also, the director
used music for the background, but you still had some sound effects that the
figure made. By making the figure have some sound effects it makes it feel I
little bit more realistic even though the figure is made from play-doh. With
the background music it has a happy, enjoyable vibe to the video which then
makes me feel that its suppose to make people laugh or feel good.
I think that
this was a good video because its very creative and it brings a hole new
meaning to being jealous about other people things

Picking sides
With this video
the director only used a long shot throughout the short clip. The angel of
where the camera never moved but the figures in the clip were moving. By doing
this it created an effect on the story because that means your looking closely
towards what happening and you’re not getting distracted by the camera moving. I
think that was a good way to show the story line but at the same time it’s a bit
simple.
The meaning
in the video was beneficial to wards the audience. The reason I believe this is
because of how the director showed us war in a different way. We know war is violent,
devastating and heart-breaking towards people. In the video it shows us nature.
Even though there was someone on the boat in the middle of the war the
beautiful background became horrible as the fight. But when the fight was over
nature came back and showed us a little bit of hope. Also, the clip showed us
how the humans have evolved through history and how destructive weapons are being
made in the years gone
