Citizen Kane
Orson Welles was the director to this film, and he was also
the producer and the co-screenwriter with another personnel. The movie was released
in 1941 and won an Academy Award for Best Writing (Original Screenplay) by
Herman J. Mankiewicz and Welles. Herman J was the other screenwriter.
The movie reflects on Charlie Kane life and what happened. On
his death bed he says one word “rosebud”. A news company is trying to uncover what
he meant by rosebud. By doing this they go to Kane’s old friends and lovers to
figure out what he meant by rosebud.

success, Citizen Kane failed to recoup its costs at the box office. The film
faded from view after its release, but was subsequently returned to the
public's attention when it was praised by such French critics as André Bazin and given an American revival in 1956. The film was
released on Blu-ray on September 13, 2011, for a special 70th anniversary
edition.”
